wishing that someone with a kind heart would grant this wish of mine :

that would be your gift for my upcoming graduation!

i'm home ^_^
the singapore-malaysia trip is over, it was a lot of fun and i was able to experience the beauty of two different cultures. from visiting tourist spots, eating chinese and malaysian delicacies to shopping, bargaining and walking around, it was all fun. Singapore is indeed a beautiful country, a place where people are indeed disciplined. No jaywalking and absolutely no hint of smoke belching!
Nassim Rd. where the Philippine Embassy is located
at the famous Merlion Park, SG
a taste of Malaysia (state of Johore Bahru)
with Nikki and Abby
with the girls, my best gal Mcarl, abby, mia and Nikki!
(gelo and his parents fetched me at the airport, mcarl joined me and so when we arrived home, we have this unexpected family dinner-get together ^_^ it was so fun! thanks for the welcome home cake tita eve!)

touched..
i remembered reading a statement that goes like this in my sister's friendster account:
that's a sister's love. i'm not really sure what makes her feel that way. pero nakakatuwa =)
"what i like most about my ate is that everyday feels like it's my birthday"

she's there
she had an early flight to hongkong.
i was barely awake when she left home.
all i know is she gave me a kiss on the cheeks and said that she's leaving.
it was around 4am.
no worries though. she'll return naman on monday.
my sister's just a tourist. :)

rough week and freaking out
rough tough week. awful just awful. i've been chasing time, professors and praying that the deadlines would be moved somehow. i am always in a hurry, there's no reason to be laid back at this point in time. ugh! this has been my busiest week so far.
THESIS, as always, is the primary source of stress. the thesis draft we sent to our adviser has gone missing in the pigeon hole... we are supposed to submit it today, before six, however as we were rushing to school, we received a message from our beloved thesis adviser confirming that it was indeed lost. what's worse is, after we printed the unedited manuscript, we were greeted with the news that miss selfa (the research teacher) happily went home few minutes before we arrived! so irritating, especially when you rushed all the way from clinical duty at trece martires.
speaking of trece martires, i had the strangest encounter with my patient at the mental institution. while he was under my supervision, he had a hallucination! he became preoccupied and bothered. started talking to someone (who's not even existing) to his right side and looks at me strangely. it was horrifying, he was saying things, muttering under his breath. he even grabbed my hands and kissed it (and it really scared me!). the rest of the session became a drag. i was so scared of him that right after i returned him to his ward, i broke in to tears and started to freak out. my friends described it as "humahagulgol". i was shaking badly. i was so thankful when my C.I. approached me and told me that she'll be changing my patient. she even asked me if i still want to pursue my clinic duty... ( of course i need to finish it.)
lastly, it was really untimely to have english proficiency program tomorrow, we are so dead tired i wonder how long can we survive the 8am to 5pm session. :(

boohoo
feels like i'm having a nightmare... my oh-so organized schedule was toppled over when the "unexpected OJT" came in to picture. the old TTH was now M-F with English Proficiency Program on Saturdays 8am-5pm. bad news is the workload has increased so much and there is insufficient time to accomplish each task well. for the next two or three weeks we are expected to:
-come up with a play: 1 for physio psych and 1 for clinical ojt (case presentation)
-THESIS defense
-Structured Learning Experience (prepare and conduct a seminar workshop for the class)
-our very own web page
-Psychological evaluation/Clinical Diagnosis/Psych Report for OJT
-Case presentation report
it wasn't like we would be able to do all of these well for such a short amount of time! we have a full schedule from monday til saturday. how can we even practice for the performance? in between the busy sched we still need to fly to singapore.. geez! we are supposed to be feeling ecstatic since the singapore trip is few days from now. boohoo! burned out! so many things so little time.

drained
i just got home from school and i am so tired and i've got this mild headache.
i'm not sure if i had this headache due physical burn-out (i badly need some sleep) or it was an outward manifestation of too much thinking and stress.
who wouldn't get stressed?! i've got so many requirements to accomplish: SLE for group dynamics, Presentation (/final exam) for Physio-psychology and even thesis. to top it all, my OJT which is supposed to start after the Singapore trip was moved and it is to start tomorrow at trece martires cavite. My schedule has drastically changed from TH to MTWTHF (8:30-5:00PM). it's awful. i designated W and F for thesis making and completion of requirements, now i could barely rest.
wah. so sad. all i want to do before my singapore trip is to have a well deserve rest. i really hate to look haggard on my photos. too bad, i've got no other choice but to comply.
